Weight Loss and Beans

Beans are good for more than just your heart. They’re loaded with proteins, antioxidants, vitamins, and that can benefit your brain and muscles, too. Not to mention, they digest really slowly, which can help you feel fuller, longer, and fuel weight loss efforts without causing feelings of deprivation. Look for easy-to-use, pre-cooked BPA-free varieties that come in a pouch or a box.

Add them to soups and salads or mix them with brown rice and steamed vegetables to create a hearty—yet healthy—dinner. Big into snacking? Mix black beans with some salsa and corn, and serve with some whole grain crackers in place of your favorite packaged dip. Just make sure you slip them into your diet! Eating beans is one of the 10 daily habits that blast belly fat.

Beware of Health Halos

Do you consider products from specialty supermarkets to be healthier than those from other grocery stores? Or do you think that dishes from organic restaurants are all waistline-friendly? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you could be derailing your weight loss efforts. When people guess the number of calories in a sandwich coming from a “healthy” restaurant, they estimate that it has, on average, 35 percent fewer calories than they do when it comes from an “unhealthy” restaurant, according to a study in the Journal of Consumer Research. Remember that the next time you reach for that package of Whole Foods’ Organic Fruit & Nut Granola. One cup of this seemingly healthy snack contains almost 500 calories. Yikes!

Hemp Oil For Benefits/Weight Loss

The wife and I were at the a friends house over Thanksgiving and they were talking about Hemp oil for weight loss that they have been using  and beleave me there fitness junkies and so the next day I was thinking that I should give it a try and so I ordered it and its been actually helpful with appetite suppression and water retention. And so I thought I would write a post about Hemp oil and what I found out about reading about it and its more then just water retention and appetite suppression.

Hemp is a plant that consists of oils with numerous (health benefits). It is derived from marijuana. The hemp oil is produced from the hemp seed through a process which involves squeezing and pressing of the hemp seed.

Dark-Colored crude oil is extracted from the hemp seed with a savory taste. Hemp seed oil is derived from the Cannabis Sativa L variety of Cannabis which has very low or no amount of THC. THC is responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis.

The presence of linoleic acid in hemp seed oil prevent weight gain. It provides 725 calories per 100g as compared to olive oil which provides 884 calories per 100g. This means that consuming hemp oil allows you to add more omega-3 to your system without adding too many calories. Omega-3 fatty acids are responsible for preventing heart diseases as it lowers the content of triglycerides in the body.

Hemp oil is also known to speed up the metabolism of the body. The faster is the body metabolism, the lower is the weight. Hemp oil contains proteins that help in increasing the metabolism of the body.

Hemp oil also reduces weight by reducing the ability of the body tissues to retain water which leads to edema formation.

Hemp oil contains a high content of fiber that not only aids digestion but also makes one feel ‘full’ for a longer duration of time thus preventing one from taking too many snacks which causes weight gain.

And so just a few things that I typed out that I found and read and so Hemp oil has an important impact on weight loss, but alone it is not sufficient. It is important to change your lifestyle entirely before starting hemp oil. You need to reduce your intake of carb-rich foods and exercise on a daily basis to see effective results. Hemp oil can help you lose weight only if you want to help yourself.

Therefore, keep exercising, increased water intake and reduced fatty and sugary foods and don’t forget about your goals to loss weight.
